The Worst Negative Nightmare in the US.

January 11th, 2009 by Yank Elliott | No Comments | Filed in Politics, Positive Attitude

12-1-2007_003What is it? Total political control of the US by the Three Dopes, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. As an Independent,  I’m really enjoying the uncomfortable shenanigans surrounding the DEMS. They won it all—everything in the US Government is subject to their total control. So what do they do? They have spent the last two weeks fighting over Obama’s replacement in the Senate. The man was not elected, but appointed by seriously tainted Gov. Blago. The Illinois political establishment has been grown in a polluted swamp for more years than I have been here, so there’s no reason to expect it to become cleaner. The next president will be uniquely fortunate if he and his entourage escape this mire only slightly tainted with hooey from the swamp bottom.

This is very funny to me; I agree with little either political party has to say—almost no politician I know is in it to serve the people. They want it to stroke their ego, or, more importantly, put them in a position to enrich themselves beyond. belief. But this is not funny right now. We have two hot wars going, there is widespread unrest in the Middle East, Iran is rapidly going nuclear, Pooty Putin is playing with his energy, and Hugo Chavez is growling at our doorstep. None of those issues is at all amusing. But, worse than all that, the US economy is imploding. People are being thrown from their homes into the street homeless, unemployment is soaring to a level that may cause a return to the food lines of the ‘30s, and the DEMS are watching Rome burn.

This stupidity actually has a positive aspect. If Pelosi’s crowd, the largest of the three idiocies, begins to seriously spout poison about any issue, they will get hung up among themselves and do absolutely nothing, or pass a bill the Senate won’t buy, and if the Senate also passes an undesirable bill, the President could veto it if his wishes are not met. That’s a lot of “ifs” for many less than intelligent people to generate. But it still offers a substantial glimmer of positive hope from an otherwise utterly negative situation.

Political Christmas Atheist Games

January 3rd, 2009 by Yank Elliott | No Comments | Filed in Politics, Positive Attitude, Religious, Spiritual

Finally, we have gone through and survived the inane games repeated during all holiday periods 12-1-2007_008associated, even remotely, with anything religious. It appears this seasonal trauma is always the result of a very small minority raising the issues surrounding a squeaky wheel which always gets the oil. These anguished cries from the oppressed and offended teeny weenie minority who call themselves Atheists always carry the same message of being forced to observe some religious rite (in the US these are mostly perceived as Christian events) they claim is demeaning to those who believe differently. In fact, their actions fly in the face of our Constitution which says, in the First Amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” There is nothing that guarantees anyone FREEDOM FROM RELIGION, which is one thing the atheists are trying to achieve. Another objective of the games is the missionary work all religions employ to spread their message and convert people, often from existing religious affiliation, to their own religious ideas. At its worst these missionary efforts cause wars like the Crusades and the Islamic terrorism we confront right now.

The Atheists, though, have discovered a new ally associated with them in trying to win the Atheist games—political correctness. The Frankfurt School was developed in the 1920’s and is the perpetrator of our current subjection to political correctness. This school of thinking was the Marxist reaction to worries over losing the economic Socialism ideas by creating Cultural Marxism, the control of people’s thinking and minds. What they have realized is they can’t accomplish their objective of completely destroying Western Civilization by laying out a plan; there is no such plan that is acceptable. So what are they doing now with political correctness? They have developed Critical Theory, the art of criticism. They simply criticize everything in order to promote Socialism. They have infiltrated all of our public institutions, corrupting the minds of our young future leaders, and they are using the do-gooder acceptability of multiculturalism, feminism, gay rights, and every other thing accepted by most people. They just criticize, and criticize, and criticize some more. So here come the Atheist Games once more.

The Christmas holiday period is over, so what are they playing with now? The perceived religious aspects associated with the Presidential inauguration. They are trying to construe these ceremonies as being a religious service with missionary overtones trying to get converts to Christianity. In fact, these ceremonies are political ritual established over more than 200 years of all kinds of public elections.

Who do the Atheists think they are, anyway? The first Atheist Website that comes up when you ask how many Atheists there are in the US quoted the Barna Group Faith Survey as saying in 2004 12% of the US population are Atheists. Barna’s 2007 survey says 10% are Atheist; looks like they lost 2% in three years. This is a positive thing if these people are in fact losing members; probably because some of the thinking members are beginning to realize they are being used by the politically correct liberals. The other positive thing is this flap over the inauguration may end up in court. If the courts refuse to hear the case, praise to our ineffective legal system. If the courts hear the case, the Atheists will probably lose. Their suit is based on “…plaintiffs say they want to watch the inaugural either in person or on television. As atheists, they contend, having to watch a ceremony with religious components will make them feel excluded and stigmatized. Plaintiffs are placed in the untenable position of having to choose between not watching the presidential inauguration or being forced to countenance endorsements of purely religious notions that they expressly deny.” This is the other positive outcome: when the Atheists lose their complaint it may set a legal precedent against such stuff in the future.

Even more positive is if many readers will realize what political correctness really is—the attempt to fracture the West using their Critical Theory, only criticism with no plan because there isn’t one.
